A floor burnisher is a piece of equipment that cleans and polishes hard floors. Burnishers feature a wide base that houses a burnishing (polishing) pad that rotates at high speeds (higher than buffing machines) in order to clean the surface. It is pushed over surfaces that will not be damaged by the rotating pad (such as terrazzo and concrete) — using a handle to guide it. These large floor burnishers are commonly used in office buildings, supermarkets, hospitals, and school facilities. (NOTE: UDT’s products do NOT require any buffing or burnishing.)
