Aug. EPIC Newsletter from UDT: Featuring new case study!
Get the latest news & info about the coatings industry. This month, we introduce our latest case study involving a healthcare facility.
Ultra Durable Technologies recently published its most recent case study that compares the performance of acrylic wax floor finish versus EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish in a healthcare setting. The study addresses the importance of keeping floors performing up to standard, especially when EVS departments are short staffed. In total, around 92,500 SF of various floor types are now finished with EPIC. Read the case study and learn more!
This month, our featured floor transformation took place at Hayfield High School in Hayfield, Minnesota through the effort of Facility Health Solutions of Central Minnesota. Tim Burnett, company owner, shared that a total of 7000 ft of VCT flooring and 800 ft of terrazzo have been finished with EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish. All traces of acrylic wax were stripped thoroughly prior to coating floors. The sheen chosen was Gloss with the addition of UDT Aggregate #240 to provide vital traction. See the extraordinary results below!

Floor Conditioner and Neutralizer (Citric Acid Packets)
What is citric acid and how is it beneficial for floor prep? This dry citric acid formula works mixed with water to neutralize high pH (alkaline) residue after stripping acrylic floor finish. It is crucial to achieve a pH neutral floor before applying EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish or any other finish. Citric Acid packets can also be used to remove hazy ice-melt residue from hard floors. Get yours today!
