The purpose of this video is to provide the step-by-step processes required to apply EPIC using the rolling method. The rolling method will yield the highest gloss level and smoothest finish.
Refer to the EPIC training manual for supplies needed before beginning. Test the environmental conditions within the area to be finished using a cyclometer.
EPIC shall not be applied when the humidity is above 70 percent. EPIC shall not be applied when the air temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply tape at transitions and surfaces that need to be protected.
Apply protective walk-off matting at the doorway.
Assemble 18-inch wide and six-and-a-half-inch edge by 3/8-inch nap woven rollers on frames.
De-lint rollers with tape.
Roll EPIC along the far wall and back with the edge roller.
Apply EPIC to hard-to-reach areas with a two-inch paint brush.
