We have recently streamlined the company website by bringing both the EPIC and Concrete pages together for a more unified look and feel. Here are a few main goals for the website:

• Create brand awareness and educate the industry about our products. 

• Provide easy-to-access product information that is now easily accessible in the Products section. At the bottom of each product page, you will find links to product documents, as well.

• Serve as an informational resource for our contractors, architects, and distributors.

Look for new and improved pages for our products, case studies, and more! We will continue to add exciting content and features, as we view our website as an ever-changing resource.

Meet Our Newest Team Members

Our newest additions to our team are already busy growing UDT!

At the start of this year, we welcomed Justin Nathe and Kate Lewellyn, Ultra Durable Technologies' newest hires. They are beautifully-matched for their positions and we are proud to introduce them.

Justin Nathe brings 5 years of experience as a QC/QA Manager to our team as our Lead Quality Control Chemist. He has enjoyed the transition to the chemistry team alongside our Senior Chemist, Bryce Sunsdahl and our Coatings Chemist, Michelle Hokanson.

An interesting fact about Justin is that prior to crafting floor coatings, he worked at Lupulin Brewery as a chemist crafting beer! At UDT, Justin's focus is on ensuring that all of our coatings adhere to our strict quality standards by running a full panel of tests in the lab and performing application testing on each and every batch that is produced here.  

We are also happy to introduce, Kate Lewellyn, our new Graphic Designer/Web Administrator. She has over 25 years working as a graphic designer and 20 as a website specialist. In her free time, Kate enjoys reading and spending time with her kids.

Kate has been instrumental in the transformation of our website into its latest iteration and has already helped create many new labels for our existing and new products. One of Kate's goals in her role is to help promote brand awareness and design consistency with print and online media.

We are beyond pleased with the work Kate and Justin have already done at UDT, and we are confident that they will help elevate the company. Welcome aboard, Justin and Kate!

Project Spotlight: Specialized Construction Services

Check out this 115-year-old terrazzo! In 2022, Specialized Construction Services tackled a massive transformation of a Milwaukee seminary's original worn, cracked terrazzo floors. Cracks were repaired and floors were prepared then recoated with EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish (formerly IMPACT).

The "after" photos were shot last week (2 years after the installation), and as you can see, the floors turned out beautifully. In fact, a visitor recently asked if the floors had been replaced and was astounded that the restoration was done 2 years ago. Awesome work, Shawn Wardall and Specialized Construction Services!

Michael Fernlund, a UDT production team member, was selected to choose a charity for UDT's Q1 2024 donation. He chose the Minnesota Veterans Assistance Fund (Fund 85) which works in conjunction with the Minnesota American Legion Foundation to offer cash assistance to help maintain the basic needs of veterans, deployed soldiers' families, and to assist surviving minor children of eligible veterans.

Fund 85 awards non-repayable grants to eligible applicants over a temporary period when it is determined that they need assistance. The purpose of the grant is to maintain a stable environment for the applicant by helping them meet the costs of shelter, food, utilities, transportation, and medical expenses. 100% of donations to Fund 85 go toward helping veterans in need, not toward administrative costs or overhead to operate the Department of Minnesota or the national organization.
