8 Effective Ways to Combat Staff Turnover and Build Workplace Resilience
Why is it that between 2020 and 2021 American businesses added an unprecedented 3.8 million jobs, but 2.2 million Americans left the labor force entirely?
Massive turnover of employees and a relentless struggle to fill positions and work crews has plagued our country. This pandemic-era economic phenomenon is now known as the "Great Resignation", a wave of employees quitting their jobs for a myriad of reasons. It has made a sizable impact on the economy and has caused a mountain of headaches for business owners and managers. There are many effective ways to combat this trend, but first it is important to learn how businesses became short-handed.
To coat floors successfully, you must ensure that you have sufficiently stripped all traces of wax and thoroughly rinsed any remaining chemical stripper from your surfaces prior to applying EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish. If you do not use testing strips, you may encounter problems such inconsistent sheen or lack of proper adhesion, and you will need to reservice the floors.
A simple way to avoid these potential headaches is to always make sure to test different areas of your floor (especially all edges) with pH test strips. If the pH reads too low (from an acidic cleaner) or too high (from stripper residue), you will know that you need to clean and rinse more. When the Hydrion® strip turns green, the pH is too high (too alkaline), indicating that you need to rinse floors again. You will want the strip to yield a neutral pH reading, between 6 and 8.

Keep EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish in a temperature-controlled environment at all times and especially prior to mixing. Also, you must pay attention not only to air temperature and humidity, but also to the floor temperature and dew point in areas that are not temperature controlled.
