EPIC High-Performance Floor Finish breaks the endless, toxic cycle of buffing, stripping, and recoating floors coated with traditional acrylic wax. When maintenance teams buff, strip, and re-wax floors, they consume vast amounts of electrical energy—enough to charge a car! They also generate significant chemical and material waste, including wax, stripper, and large volumes of water that flow down the drain. Because traditional acrylic wax fails to protect floors from wear and tear, it shortens the flooring's lifespan and creates even more material waste.
LONG-LASTING AND DURABLE
Alternatively, Ultra Durable Technologies formulated EPIC to last 3–5 years, even in high-traffic areas. As a result, maintenance crews need to apply only 2 or 3 recoats of EPIC over 10 years, compared to the 20–30 recoats typically required with acrylic. This design not only simplifies maintenance but, more importantly, allows EPIC to extend the lifespan of flooring. EPIC preserves floors longer by forming a durable barrier that resists abrasion, chemicals, and contaminants.

EPIC cuts out buffing entirely, which saves energy and improves indoor air quality (IAQ). Additionally, there is no stripping required for EPIC once all wax is stripped prior to application. Therefore, it significantly reduces water use and keeps chemical stripper out of our water supply!

While EPIC can be cleaned with any type of disinfectant or sanitizer, the only materials needed to maintain EPIC floors are water or a neutral cleaner and an auto scrubber or microfiber mop! How easy is that? By only requiring environmentally-friendly products for maintenance and eliminating the need for stripping floors altogether, EPIC also dramatically minimizes the need to purchase and use harsh chemicals. Plus, because EPIC creates a seamless barrier, tile and grout is easy to clean. Grout stays looking great and free from odors that can seep into grout pores.
