New! IMPACT MINI KIT
Now available, UDT's IMPACT MINI KIT is a perfect solution for instances when a small area needs to be coated. It is also an excellent addition for use during demos/sales calls. For large areas to be coated, it can help the installer and the customer determine the final appearance prior to coating the entire area. Variables such as porosity, desired level of gloss, and traction can affect the end result, so coating a small area first can help "dial in" what is desired by the customer. Polished Concrete Is Great...But Not For Everyone
The polishing process is a slow, expensive endeavor that even “the pros” find challenging. Additionally, polished concrete can be expensive to maintain, especially in areas where chemical resistance is needed.
Just one or two grinds and a simple application of IMPACT water-based urethane will yield a high shine that compares to a polish. However, IMPACT for concrete sealer will be more acid and chemical resistant without the need for a “polish guard” that requires buffing and frequent reapplications.
